Job summary

Oregon Lottery is hiring one Human Resources Specialist 2 to join our team in a remote eligible position with occasional onsite work in Salem, OR.

You will support HR operations, employee services, onboarding, records management, and compliance activities, coordinating HR functions and ensuring timely delivery of HR services to employees and management.

The role reports to the Supervisor, Human Resources and requires an Associate's degree with relevant HR administrative experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and three years’ experience providing advanced administrative and operational support for HR functions; OR five years’ experience.
• Experience with onboarding, HR programs, benefits, and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Apply Lottery values and standards in daily activities with fairness, integrity, security and honesty.
• Assist with administration of HR operational processes, records and communications to ensure compliant service delivery.
• Provide HR program guidance, support, and responsive service to employees, applicants and stakeholders.
• Administer onboarding and employee lifecycle transactions to support workforce integration and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with communications, document creation, and HR initiatives; provide scheduling support to HR leadership.
• Collect, maintain, and review HR data and documentation to support reporting and compliance.
• Assist with purchasing and budget-related activities by coordinating financial documentation and transactions.
