Job summary

Caring for Others is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to partner with leadership, manage core HR operations, and lead a broad, compliance-sensitive workload. This in‑person role is based in Redmond, OR, requiring strong HR expertise, sound judgment, and independent work across multiple HR functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR Generalist/Manager experience.
• Ability to work independently without onsite HR leadership.
• Strong integrity, discretion, and HIPAA compliance knowledge.
• PHR/SHRM-CP or higher preferred; healthcare/home care exposure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for HR, managing inquiries via inbox, tickets, mail, and phone.
• Oversee workers' compensation end‑to‑end processes.
• Administer leave programs and unemployment claims in a compliant, timely manner.
• Manage employee benefits enrollment and vendor coordination.
• Provide payroll support and HRIS assistance.
• Own and improve the Employee Training Program.
• Support branch locations and lead performance management and offboarding.
• Act as de‑facto HR resource in absence of HR leader and escalate as needed.
