Job summary

Payentry is seeking an HR Services Advisor to support our HR Services clients across the United States from a remote position, with a preference for West coast time zones. The role delivers hands-on HR guidance, compliance support, employee relations, and project work such as handbooks and audits.

You will partner with payroll and benefits teams, stay current on employment laws, and help small to mid-sized businesses optimize their HR ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7 years HR generalist experience.
• 5 years of HR generalist experience required.
• HR Certifications: PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or similar certification.
• Excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills; ability to explain HR concepts clearly.
• Intuitive troubleshooting/problem resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently while still being team oriented.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining deadlines.
• Ability to use prudent judgment and discretion with confidential client information.

Responsibilities

• Assist HR Services clients by guiding HR issues and projects (handbooks, audits, forms, processes).
• Provide guidance on employee relations issues.
• Respond to client queries through internal system with timely, accurate resolutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR trends at Federal/State/Local levels.
• Collaborate with payroll and benefits teams to deliver seamless HR support.
