Job summary

Payentry is seeking an HR Services Advisor to support our HR Services clients across the United States from a remote position, with a preference for West coast time zones. The role delivers hands-on HR guidance, compliance support, employee relations, and project work such as handbooks and audits.

You will partner with payroll and benefits teams, stay current on employment laws, and help small to mid-sized businesses optimize their HR ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7 years HR generalist experience.
• 5 years of HR generalist experience required.
• HR Certifications: PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or similar certification.
• Excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills; ability to explain HR concepts clearly.
• Intuitive troubleshooting/problem resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently while still being team oriented.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining deadlines.
• Ability to use prudent judgment and discretion with confidential client information.

Responsibilities

• Assist HR Services clients by guiding HR issues and projects (handbooks, audits, forms, processes).
• Provide guidance on employee relations issues.
• Respond to client queries through internal system with timely, accurate resolutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR trends at Federal/State/Local levels.
• Collaborate with payroll and benefits teams to deliver seamless HR support.

We are looking for an HR Services Advisor to join our rapidly growing team! This is a remote position. Though the preference is for West coast time zone.

The HR Advisor is the primary point of contact for our HR Services clients. This role delivers hands‑on HR guidance and compliance support to small and medium‑sized businesses across the United States, helping them navigate everyday everyday people management, workplace compliance, and employee relations challenges. The HR Advisor acts as a trusted partner, ensuring clients have the confidence, tools, and best practices needed to manage their workforce and HR ecosystem effectively.

What you’ll do:

• Assist new and currently assigned HR Services clients by helping them through HR issues and work on projects such as employee handbooks, compliance audits, review of HR forms and processes, etc.
• Provide guidance to our clients on handling employee relations issues.
• Respond to client queries through our internal system, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of employment legislation and HR trends at the Federal/Stat/Local levels.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, including payroll and benefits, to deliver seamless HR support.

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor's degree or can substitute 7 years HR generalist expierence.
• Must have 5 years of HR generalist experience.
• HR Certifications: PHR/SPHR or SHRM‑CP/SHRM‑SCP or similar certification.
• Excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills; with the ability to explain HR concepts clearly.
• Intuitive troubleshooting/problem resolution skills.
