Job summary

The Treehouse: Retail & Play Space is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR initiatives across our organization. You will drive strategic HR planning, oversee talent acquisition and development, and ensure smooth HR operations while fostering a positive workplace culture.

You will manage HRIS data, payroll processing, and compliance, partnering with leadership to advance organizational goals and employee success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in human resources management with a strong background in HR operations and employment law.
• Expertise in human capital management, change management, talent management, and workforce planning.
• Proficient with HRIS systems such as Oracle HCM, UltiPro, ADP, or Ceridian; skilled in data entry, HRIS administration, and payroll processing.
• Excellent communication while handling confidential information professionally with diverse teams.
• Strong project management capabilities with experience in organization design, succession planning, training & development programs.
• Knowledge of employment & labor law including FMLA regulations; familiarity with OSHA standards is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel for data analysis), social media management for employer branding, and ATS platforms like iCIMS or Lever.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Lead talent acquisition efforts including sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding programs.
• Oversee orientation, training, development initiatives, and performance management systems.
• Administer benefits programs, payroll processing, workers' compensation, and legal compliance.
• Manage employee relations, internal communications, and conflict resolution.
• Utilize HRIS data collection and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate compliance activities including affirmative action planning and HR regulatory compliance.
