Job summary

Target is hiring a Human Resources Expert to champion guest-centric service and talent strategies in-store. You will support scheduling, recruiting, training, and payroll practices while ensuring a positive guest experience and team collaboration.

You will work with store leaders to address staffing needs, manage daily HR tasks, and uphold safety and compliance standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments.
• Greet guests as they enter and maintain a warm, helpful interaction.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support team efforts and assist peers in other areas.
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy experience.
• Work with HR leaders to address staffing needs across the store.
• Lead focused recruiting efforts to help store leaders hire candidates.
• Support training needs and be an advocate for continuous learning.
• Be an expert resource for scheduling systems and pay practices.
• Be approachable and listen to team members to take action.
• Deliver on Human Resources processes and programs to maximize engagement and minimize disruption.
• Follow company compliance policies and demonstrate ethical conduct and safety.
• Work safely and adhere to training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• All other duties based on business needs.
