Job summary

CHOICE Healthcare Services is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Generalist for a temporary 6-9 month assignment. The role covers employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, compliance, and HR programs across the organization.

Remote candidates residing in CA, NV, AZ, NM, or CO are welcome to apply. You will partner with leaders, support investigations, guide performance actions, and help drive employee engagement while maintaining confidential documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR Generalist experience.
• Some experience with employee relations and workplace investigations.
• Working knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and performance management.
• Experience with HRIS (Paylocity a plus).
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a remote environment.
• Comfortable working independently while building partnerships across the organization.
• Experience in healthcare, multi-site operations, retail, or DSO environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders and employees on day-to-day employee relations matters.
• Support workplace investigations, including gathering information, conducting interviews, documenting findings, and assisting with recommendations.
• Provide guidance on performance management, corrective action, policy interpretation, and employee concerns.
• Support performance reviews, terminations, employee engagement initiatives, and other HR programs.
• Assist with HR compliance and the consistent application of company policies and practices.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee documentation.
• Collaborate with the HR team on projects and operational priorities as needed.
