Job summary

Choice Healthcare Services is seeking a temporary HR Generalist to support our remote workforce across multiple states for 6-9 months. You will handle employee relations, investigations, performance management, and compliance while collaborating with leaders and a cross-functional HR team.

This role is open to remote candidates in California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, or Colorado, and offers a competitive compensation package based on experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR Generalist experience.
• Experience with employee relations and workplace investigations.
• Knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and performance management.
• Experience with HRIS (Paylocity is a plus).
• Excellent judgment, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Experience in healthcare, multi-site operations, or retail is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders and employees on day-to-day employee relations matters.
• Support workplace investigations, including gathering information, conducting interviews, documenting findings, and recommendations.
• Provide guidance on performance management, policy interpretation, and employee concerns.
• Support performance reviews, terminations, employee engagement, and other HR programs.
• Assist with HR compliance and consistent application of company policies.
• Maintain confidential employee documentation.
• Collaborate with the HR team on projects and priorities.
