Sharing Excess Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist, Recruiting to own full-cycle recruitment across all hubs, from warehouse roles to leadership positions. The role emphasizes candidate experience and values alignment from first contact through day one.

The position is 70% recruiting and 30% generalist work, offering backup HR coverage, onboarding support, HRIS updates, and compliance tasks in a small HR team led by the HR Manager. Travel to hub locations is occasional.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, in-house or agency.
• Experience with high-volume hourly hiring and professional/salaried searches.
• Working knowledge of HR operations: onboarding, I-9s, HRIS, employee relations basics.
• Familiarity with employment law: fair chance and pay transparency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the full-cycle recruitment process end-to-end for all hub locations and roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role needs and interview plans.
• Source candidates via job boards, community partners, colleges, and referrals with a local focus.
• Manage high-volume hourly hiring alongside professional/leadership searches.
• Coach managers on structured, inclusive interviewing and ensure compliant processes.
• Maintain ATS data and report hiring metrics; prepare offers and support onboarding.
• Provide backup HR generalist support: onboarding, HRIS updates, and compliance tasks.
