Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a Corporate Recruiter / HR Generalist to help us attract, hire, and retain talented employees while also supporting the day-to-day needs of our Human Resources function.

This role will be responsible for managing the full recruiting lifecycle, from identifying candidates and conducting initial interviews through coordinating offers and onboarding. In addition to recruiting, this individual will assist with a variety of HR responsibilities, including employee onboarding, benefits administration, employee records, HR policies, employee relations, and other HR initiatives.

The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, resourceful, and comfortable balancing recruiting priorities with the changing needs of a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for positions across the organization.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions and job postings.
  • Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.
  • Review resumes and applications and conduct initial candidate interviews.

Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process and provide a professional candidate experience.
  • Conduct reference checks and coordinate background checks, as appropriate.
  • Prepare and coordinate employment offers.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and anticipated hiring needs.
  • Track recruiting activity and provide updates on open positions, candidate pipelines, time-to-fill, and other relevant recruiting metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, tools, and sourcing strategies.

Human Resources

  • Coordinate new-hire onboarding and orientation activities.
  • Assist employees with general HR questions, policies, benefits, and other employment-related matters.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
  • Assist with benefits enrollment and administration.

Support employee status changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations.

Assist with HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates.

  • Support performance management and employee review processes.
  • Assist with employee relations matters and escalated sensitive or complex issues when appropriate.
  • Help coordinate employee engagement, recognition, training, and development initiatives.

Assist with HR reporting, audits, compliance activities, and special projects. Support management with other Human Resources needs as they arise.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple open positions and recruiting for a variety of roles.
  • Working knowledge of common HR practices and employment-related processes.

Experience with applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, job boards, and Linkedln Recruiter or similar recruiting tools is preferred.

  • Strong interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Comfortable working independently while collaborating with employees and managers throughout the organization.

  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification is a plus but not required.
What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and takes ownership of getting things done. The right person will be equally comfortable speaking with a prospective candidate, helping a manager work through a hiring need, answering an employee's HR question, and handling the administrative details required to keep HR processes running smoothly.

This is a hands‑on role. Success will require good judgment, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to shift priorities when business needs change.
