Job summary

Keeper Security is seeking an HR Generalist to support the People Team in handling the full employee lifecycle. The role reports to the Senior Director of Human Resources and balances remote work with an option for a hybrid schedule for those in the Chicago, IL metro area.

You will implement HR programs, administer payroll and benefits, ensure compliance, manage HRIS/ADP records, and partner with EOR providers for international onboarding.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience in HR roles, with a focus on payroll, benefits and compliance.
• Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Proficiency in HRIS and ATS.
• Baseline knowledge of Excel and GSuite.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a collaborative and proactive approach.
• Flexibility and adaptability to change.
• Flexible schedule (occasionally onboarding occurs in US evening hours for our Japanese/AU employees).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate and support people processes.
• Own and manage the full-cycle new hire onboarding process including preparing offer letters, coordinating vetting and screening, updating trackers, adding employees to ADP, organizing orientation across multiple locales, refreshing onboarding materials, and administering onboarding surveys.
• Own and coordinate the monthly performance management process, including tracking, rollout and follow-ups.
• Process employee lifecycle changes, maintain HRIS/ADP records, create Jira tickets, update stock option trackers.
• Conduct monthly dual employment audits and coordinate follow-ups.
• Collaborate on HR metrics, reporting and data requests while maintaining records and trackers.
• Provide backup coverage for timecard, benefits, enrollment, compliance, and audit documentation tasks.
• Interact with employees and managers to provide level 1 employee relations support and coaching.
• Promote a positive work environment through engagement initiatives and monthly newsletters.
• Assist with HR projects and onboarding through EOR partners in international locations.
• Support occasional Japan-related HR operations across time zones.
• Assist with termination conversations and offboarding.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.
