Job summary

CK Control Temp, Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to support a wide range of HR functions in a fast-growing professional services environment. You will help create a positive employee experience and ensure lawful, compliant practices across recruitment, onboarding, payroll and benefits.

This in-office role with a Monday–Friday schedule includes occasional extended hours and flexibility to work remotely as needed to meet business needs. Collaboration with Payroll and Finance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5 years of HR experience in professional services preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment efforts including job postings, candidate screening, sourcing, setting up interviews.
• Support offer processes (offer letters, pre-hire requirements).
• New hire setup in HRIS in collaboration with Payroll and Finance; onboarding programs facilitation.
• Support performance review processes, including goal setting and evaluations.
• Assist with compensation processes, including salary reviews and benchmarking.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data; policy development support.
• Back-up for weekly and bi-weekly payroll; respond to employee inquiries on benefits.
