SEIU 775 in Seattle seeks an HR Generalist to serve as the primary resource for employee relations, leave administration, policy interpretation, investigations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and other HR programs. Qualifications

• Five years of progressively responsible HR generalist experience across core HR disciplines.
• Three years’ experience managing and/or administering an HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary resource for employee relations and leave administration while ensuring legal compliance.
• Conduct workplace investigations; gather evidence, interview, and prepare reports; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Administer and coordinate FMLA, PFML, ADA accommodations, military leave, workers’ comp and other protected leaves; manage interactive process and return-to-work.
• Coordinate recruitment and selection activities; partner with managers to define role requirements and run interviews; maintain candidate data.
• Support general HR operations, including HR compliance, reporting, audits, and data accuracy; monitor risks and ensure confidentiality.
