Jerry.ai is hiring for a hands-on HR Operations role focused on multi-state compliance, policy drafting, and payroll/benefits questions. You will own parts of HR operations requiring judgment, and you will shape how AI fits into HR processes.

Expect a fast-paced, small team where you’ll be handling payroll, compliance filings, and policy updates directly, with room to influence the function’s future direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• At least 2 years of real, hands-on HR generalist experience.
• Genuine in-house multi-state compliance experience.
• Comfortable in a small, high-intensity team where you touch payroll, benefits, and compliance yourself.
• Excited to build with AI.

Responsibilities

• Multi-state compliance tracking and policy updates across every employee classification and pay range.
• Lead annual compliance audit and handbook refresh in your first 90 days.
• Escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions that need an experienced hand.
• Reviewing and unblocking the work of the Payroll and HR Administration team.
• Rearchitect HR ops processes with an AI-native mindset.
