Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking an in-house HR Operations leader to own multi-state compliance, policy drafting, and complex payroll and benefits questions. You will shape processes, escalate issues with judgment, and bring AI into how we run HR ops to cut busywork.

In a small, fast-paced team, you’ll implement changes start-to-finish, lead the annual audit and handbook refresh, and grow into day-to-day HR operations management over time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• At least 2 years of hands-on HR generalist experience.
• Genuine in-house, multi-state compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Multi-state compliance: tracking state-by-state law changes and policy updates.
• Lead annual compliance audit and handbook refresh, start to finish, in 90 days.
• Escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions requiring experience.
• Review and unblock work of Payroll and HR Administration teams.
• Rearchitect HR ops with an AI-native mindset and new workflows.
• Grow into day-to-day HR operations management over time.
