Job summary

Team Up is seeking an HR Advisor for a remote US-based role. You will provide practical HR support to employees and managers, covering employee relations, talent management, HR operations, and reporting while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Responsibilities include supporting recruitment, onboarding, performance initiatives, HRIS data maintenance, and data-driven HR improvements using AI tools in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an HR Advisor or HR Generalist role.
• Experience providing HR guidance to managers and employees.
• Good knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and compliance.
• Experience with employee relations, performance and absence management.
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding, and lifecycle processes.
• Experience using HRIS and/or payroll systems.
• Experience reporting on HR metrics and trends.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact for HR queries from employees and managers.
• Support employee relations matters including conflicts and grievances.
• Coach managers on HR policies and people management practices.
• Support recruitment activities from screening to interviews.
• Assist with training, learning and development, and succession planning.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
• Support onboarding and offboarding and day-to-day HR admin.
• Assist with compensation reviews, surveys, and engagement initiatives.
• Gather and analyse HR data such as turnover and engagement.
• Prepare HR reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Support change management with communication and engagement.
• Maintain awareness of employment law and policy compliance.
• Use AI and digital HR tools to improve processes and experience.
• Ensure responsible use of AI and data privacy governance.
• Build relationships with employees, managers, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes.
