Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking a dynamic HR Compliance Analyst to advance our HR governance program and foster a compliant, people‑first workplace. You will partner with Employee Relations, Legal, Payroll, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, HR Technology, and HR Support Services to ensure regulatory requirements are assessed, implemented, and sustained.

This full‑time, exempt role offers remote or hybrid work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of diverse HR operations, compliance or related experience.
• Under minimal supervision, supports HR compliance governance activities.
• Experience coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly to various audiences.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate review of regulatory changes with impacted HR functions and Legal.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions to clarify ownership and implementation plans.
• Support development and distribution of compliance guidance and resources.
• Monitor training requirements, ownership, and completion for compliance readiness.
• Track implementation activities and milestones to ensure timely completion.
• Manage HR compliance vendor relationships and external resources.
• Review and update HR policies in response to regulatory changes.
• Prepare dashboards, scorecards, and compliance reports for HR leadership.
• Support regulatory examinations and internal audits with documentation and coordination.
