Job summary

Possibilities is hiring a remote HR Generalist to support a multi-state organization with payroll, benefits, leave administration, and compliance. The role partners with leadership to manage employee relations, performance, and lifecycle events across onsite and remote employees.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of progressive HR experience, strong knowledge of employment laws, and proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive HR experience across multiple functions.
• Hands-on payroll, benefits, leave administration, compliance, and HR operations.
• Experience supporting employees and managers, including employee relations and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Employee Relations Support: be the point of contact for policies, procedures, and workplace concerns.
• Payroll & HRIS Administration: process bi-weekly payroll and maintain HRIS/payroll data.
• Benefits Administration: manage enrollment and answer benefits questions.
• Leave, Accommodations & Compliance: administer leaves and ADA accommodations, ensure compliance.
• Performance Management: coordinate reviews and assist with compensation statements.
• HR Administration & Employee Records: maintain records and complete employment verifications.
• Reporting & HR Data: pull monthly attendance and turnover data for leadership.
• HR Team Support & Collaboration: provide cross-functional HR coverage and support onboarding.
