Job summary

Activate is a technology company building interactive gaming facilities across Canada and the US, now expanding the US operations. We seek an HR Business Partner to support Store Operations, employee relations, performance management, recruitment and policy implementation.

The role is full-time and remote with travel up to 25% across US regions, aiming to strengthen people and culture development while aligning HR strategies with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Human Resource Management or related field.
• 5+ years of HR work experience across multiple states including California.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to conduct thorough workplace investigations.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and managing relationships.
• Experience with HRIS, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to Store Operations Leaders on HR including employee relations and development.
• Promote an agile, performance-driven culture and coach teams.
• Lead investigations in accordance with laws and company policy.
• Coordinate workplace claims process with employees and management.
• Support Health & Safety initiatives and accommodation processes.
• Partner with hiring leads to source, interview, and onboard staff.
