Job summary

EIS Ltd is seeking an HR People Partner to provide end-to-end employee lifecycle support for US and Canadian employees. You will ensure compliance with local employment laws, deliver high-touch employee relations, and own operational HR programs across the US and Canada.

Collaborate with managers and cross-functional teams to implement global HR programs locally, maintain handbooks, and support mobility with immigration matters. This is a remote role supporting a dynamic tech-related environment.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of US employment law and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing the full employee lifecycle in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Proficiency with HRIS and ATS systems (e.g., BambooHR, Pinpoint, Checkr, JIRA).
• Experience with onboarding, offboarding, background checks, and HR compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers on employee relations matters.
• Manage full employee lifecycle across US and Canada (pre-boarding, onboarding, offboarding, exits, I-9 and E-Verify).
• Process promotions, bonuses, and employment verifications in partnership with Payroll, Finance, and Legal.
• Maintain HR administration and documentation across the HR cycle (HRIS, personnel records, internal Wiki).
• Update US and Canadian employee handbooks to reflect local labor laws.
