GovCIO is hiring a part-time Human Resources Business Partner to support employer relations, investigations, and compliance nationwide. The role is fully remote within the United States, with a focus on processes, documentation, and collaboration with leadership.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of HR experience, strong investigative skills, and knowledge of federal/state employment laws while maintaining confidentiality in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in HR/Business/psychology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years HR experience with exposure to employee relations, investigations, compliance, or HR generalist functions.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work autonomously in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for employee relations and workplace concerns.
• Guide managers and staff on policies, procedures, and employment practices.
• Support investigations and disciplinary actions with objective analysis.
• Maintain compliant HR records and assist with workforce planning.
