Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a part-time Human Resources Business Partner to support employer relations and ongoing investigations. This role is fully remote within the United States.

You will handle employee relations matters, conduct workplace investigations, and assist with compliance audits, while partnering with legal, compliance, and senior HR colleagues. Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree in HR/Business/Psychology with 8+ years of HR experience, strong investigative and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Psychology; 8+ years of experience.
• Experience with employee relations, investigations, compliance, or HR generalist functions.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience handling confidential information.
• Strong investigative, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and HRIS.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a first point of contact for employee relations matters and workplace concerns.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding policies and procedures.
• Support conflict resolution and improve communication between management and staff.
• Assist with disciplinary actions, performance discussions, and corrective actions.
• Identify trends and propose proactive HR solutions.
