GovCIO is seeking a part-time Human Resources Business Partner to support employer relations and ongoing investigations. This fully remote role will operate across the United States, focusing on employee relations, investigations, compliance, and HR projects.

The position requires a strong background in HR with experience handling confidential information, and a commitment to regulatory compliance. Collaboration with legal and leadership teams is expected to drive improvements and maintain

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Psychology with 8+ years (or commensurate experience).
• Minimum 2 years of HR experience with exposure to employee relations, investigations, compliance, or HR generalist functions.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
• Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient with MS Office and HRIS.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a first point of contact for employee relations matters and workplace concerns.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding policies and employment practices.
• Support conflict resolution and facilitate communication between managers and employees.
• Assist with disciplinary actions, performance discussions, and corrective actions.
• Identify employee relations trends and recommend proactive solutions.
• Conduct and support employee investigations involving policy violations and misconduct.
• Gather and review evidence, documentation, and witness statements.
• Prepare investigation summaries, findings, and recommendations for HR leadership.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure investigations are fair and timely.
• Partner with legal, compliance, and leadership teams as appropriate.
• Perform routine HR record audits to ensure compliance.
