GovCIO is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (Part-Time) to support employee relations, investigations, and compliance from a fully remote location within the United States.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field with 8+ years experience, plus at least 2 years in HR functions, and strong investigative, analytical, and communication skills. HRIS proficiency and remote work capability are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, psychology with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)
• Minimum 2 years of HR experience with exposure to employee relations, investigations, compliance, or HR generalist functions
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices
• Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
• Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Responsabilidades

• Serve as first point of contact for employee relations matters and workplace concerns
• Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding company policies, procedures, and employment practices
• Support conflict resolution efforts and facilitate effective communication between managers and employees
• Assist with disciplinary actions, performance discussions, and corrective action processes
• Identify employee relations trends and recommend proactive solutions
• Conduct and support employee investigations involving policy violations, misconduct, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, attendance issues, and other employment-related concerns
• Gather and review evidence, documentation, and witness statements
• Prepare investigation summaries, findings, and recommendations for HR leadership review
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure investigations are conducted in a fair, objective, and timely manner
• Partner with legal, compliance, and leadership teams as appropriate
• Perform routine audits of HR records, employee files, personnel actions, and HR processes to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Monitor documentation standards and identify gaps or risks
• Assist with internal and external audit requests
• Support compliance initiatives relating to federal, state, and local employment laws
• Recommend process improvements to strengthen compliance and operational effectiveness
• Support senior HR Business Partners with organizational and workforce initiatives
• Assist with organizational changes, employee transitions, and workforce planning activities
• Help analyze employee relations data and identify trends impacting the workforce
• Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate and timely case management documentation
