GovCIO is hiring a Part-Time Human Resources Business Partner to support employee relations, investigations, and compliance. This role is fully remote within the United States.

Responsibilities include advising managers, handling workplace concerns, assisting with disciplinary actions, and ensuring policy adherence. The position emphasizes confidentiality and cross-functional collaboration with legal and compliance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Psychology.
• 8+ years of HR experience with exposure to employee relations, investigations, compliance, or HR generalist functions.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
• Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a first point of contact for employee relations matters and workplace concerns.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding company policies, procedures, and employment practices.
• Support conflict resolution efforts and facilitate effective communication between managers and employees.
• Assist with disciplinary actions, performance discussions, and corrective action processes.
• Identify employee relations trends and recommend proactive solutions.
