Job summary

Ace Electric, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to align business objectives with employees and leadership within the Ohio Division.

The HRBP will manage onboarding, employee relations, HR policy guidance and related HR matters, reporting to the HR Director or Performance and Compensation Manager. This home-office role requires at least 5 years of HRBP experience, SHRM-CP preferred, and fluency in English (Spanish is a plus).

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• SHRM-CP certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years HR Business Partner experience preferred.
• Experience advising on HR policies and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Regularly meets with assigned Division to understand staffing needs.
• Assists hiring managers with scheduling interviews for qualified candidates.
• Conducts reference or background checks on job applicants.
• Processes onboarding paperwork for assigned Division.
• Consults with Division management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
• Interprets and explains HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
• Maintains employment records for events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions.
• Supports reception and a high level of customer service for employees.
