Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to serve employees across life plan communities and home health locations in Ohio. The role partners with the Area HR Director to ensure lawful, efficient employment practices and high employee engagement.

Responsibilities include managing HR systems, payroll verification, benefits education, onboarding, and employee relations. A bachelor’s degree in HR and 3 years of HR experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in human resources.
• Familiar with employment guidelines, regulations, and laws.
• Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet.
• Experience with Workday and applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide information to employees and managers in accordance with company standards and policies.
• Manage HR systems, processes, and resources; maintain safe working space.
• Assist with unemployment claims, benefits education, and enrollment processes.
• Coordinate employee meetings and onboarding activities; support payroll audits.
