The HRBP will manage onboarding, employee relations, HR policy guidance and related HR matters, reporting to the HR Director or Performance and Compensation Manager. This home-office role requires at least 5 years of HRBP experience, SHRM-CP preferred, and fluency in English (Spanish is a plus).

The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and leadership within a designated Ace Electric Division. The Human Resources Business Partner will work with key stakeholders at the designated division to provide support with new hire on-boarding, employee relations issues, HR policy guidance and interpretation and related HR matters. The Human Resources Business Partner reports to the HR Director and/or Performance and Compensation Manager.
++This is a Home Office position with a primary work location in the Ohio Division Office.++

Regularly meets with assigned Division(s) to understand staffing needs.
Assists hiring managers with scheduling interviews for qualified candidates.
Conducts reference or background checks on job applicants.
Processes, tracks, and maintains onboarding paperwork for assigned Division.
Consults with Division management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
Interpret and explain HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees.
Assists the Human Resources Director with employee relations issue and investigations.
Maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using HR management system software and paper filing system.
Participates with special projects and seeks additional responsibilities.
Provides reception and a high level of customer service for employees.
