Job summary

Seyfarth Shaw LLP is seeking a highly experienced Employment Litigation attorney for a fully remote, hourly IST role. You will join a national, elite team of Labor and Employment lawyers handling management-side matters.

You’ll work with a top-ranked practice group and have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while engaging in exciting matters across the country. A bar license in the relevant state is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of employment litigation experience, preferably on the management side.
• Familiarity with federal and state court practice and agencies (EEOC, DOL, etc).
• Litigation work including pleadings, discovery, and motions.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of discovery and draft motions including summary judgment.
• Manage EEOC charges, investigations, statements, and settlements when needed.
• Represent clients in mediations and conciliations and negotiate settlements.
• Coordinate with senior lawyers to share resources and best practices.
• Balance workload with flexibility and no billable hours requirement.
