Job summary

Health & Human Services Commission in Austin seeks a Manager V (PFD Hospital Rates Manager) to oversee cost analyses, rate methodologies, and policy development for reimbursement rates.

Responsibilities include directing staff, developing workflows, and presenting research to executive leadership. Telework eligibility up to 3 days per week is available with occasional in-office meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Required. Experience in Provider Finance may be substituted for education on a one-to-one basis.

Responsibilities

• Oversees development and implementation of policy guidelines, agency rules, and amendments.
• Directs staff; develops/workflows and sets priorities for reporting.
• Guides PFD staff on rate determination methods and analytical approaches.
• Represents PFD at meetings with stakeholders and manages major projects.
• Prepares briefing documents and presents data analyses for executive staff.
