Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Manager V to oversee hospital rate analyses, develop reimbursement methodologies, and guide cost data management. You will supervise staff, maintain complex applications, and coordinate policy updates with executive leadership.

Telework eligibility and a focus on strategic planning will be part of the role, with a primary location in Austin, TX. A Bachelor's degree and strong supervisory/finance experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; substitution allowed one-to-one with Provider Finance experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience or 5 years in provider finance.
• Preference for supervisors with teams of 5+ staff.
• Knowledge of cost analysis and reimbursement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversees development and implementation of policy guidelines and rate policies.
• Directs staff and manages workplans and workflows.
• Sets priorities and accountability for reporting.
• Develops processes and tools to ensure compliance with standards.
• Interacts with internal and external stakeholders on rate issues and policy impacts.
• Prepares briefing documents and presents analyses to executives.
