Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Homologation Specialist to design promotional strategy aligned with the sales strategy and to lead the Technical Design and Promotions team.

You will ensure the planning and timely execution of promotional activities with technical content for the assigned audience. You will align promotional efforts with sales plans, provide on-time technical support and training, and develop business opportunities with key decision-makers, including consultants and engineering firms,

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) plus minimum 10 years experience in Electrification Industry.
• Experience working in Product Marketing with Digital Power Distribution Relays is highly desired.
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of Relays configuration software.
• Business development within Power Distribution industry.
• Business development in Electrification, Utilities and Industrial applications.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% (primarily domestic).
• Candidates must already have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

• Design promotional strategy aligned with the sales strategy and sales activities plan.
• Lead, develop, and coach the Technical Design and Promotions team to provide high-level technical content.
• Ensure planning and timely execution of promotional activities with appropriate technical content for the target audience.
• Provide on-time and quality technical support and technical training to the target audience, resulting in high customer satisfaction.
• Create business opportunities by supporting and fostering collaborations with key decision-makers within buying and non-buying segments.
• Support customers, particularly consultants, engineering firms, and architecture offices, in project development and technical problem-solving.
