You will review requests, access EHR data, transmit information securely, log requests, and collaborate with clients via email, phone, and secure portals. The position supports a fully remote work environment with strict privacy standards and reliable connectivity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Prior ROI experience in a physician’s office or HIM department is a plus.
• 1+ year data entry experience; proficient with computer/web-based systems.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet production goals.
• Strong verbal and written communication; respond to inquiries by phone, email, and virtual platforms.
• Attention to detail; dependable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine records to release by reviewing requester information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Respond to phone calls, emails, and secure messages from requesters concerning ROI issues.
• Process priority requests from physician offices and transmit information securely.
• Log medical record requests into Exchange Manager.
• Upload and index electronic medical records into Exchange Manager.
• Comply with HIPAA privacy/security requirements and remote-work policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
