MRO is seeking an ROI Specialist to support at client sites for release of information requests related to patient medical records. The role requires data-entry proficiency, strong communication, and attention to detail in a HIPAA-regulated environment.

Qualifications

• One or more years experience entering data into computer systems.
• Ability to work independently and meet production goals.
• Strong verbal communication skills; ability to respond to customer inquiries.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven dependability and reliability.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine records to be released by reviewing requestor information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Answer phone calls concerning ROI issues.
• Assist walk-in customers requesting medical records and log information in ROI On-Line database.
• Process requests from physician offices and fax information as needed.
• Log and scan medical records into ROI On-Line database.
• Handle and record cash payments where required at client sites.
• Comply with site policies and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
