Job summary

MRO is seeking a Remote ROI Specialist to provide remote support for releasing patient medical records. You will review requester information, access EHR systems, and respond to inquiries while ensuring HIPAA compliance and secure transmission of information.

This fully remote role requires a private workspace, reliable internet, and adherence to MRO security policies. Experience in ROI and data entry is a plus, with opportunities across multiple U.S. states.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Experience entering data into computer systems.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet production goals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for inquiries by phone, email, and secure messages.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process ROI requests for patient records by reviewing requester information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Respond to phone calls, emails, and secure messages from requesters about ROI issues.
• Process requests from physician offices and securely transmit information (e.g., secure eDelivery or eFax).
• Log requests into Exchange Manager and index records accordingly.
• Adhere to MRO privacy/security policies and participate in remote work requirements.
