Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder or RHIT or equivalent

• Ability to abstract medical information from EMR and paper records

Responsibilities

• Code hospital and clinic services by assigning appropriate ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes using encoding software
