Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a HIM Business Analyst to drive discovery, workflow documentation, and training of HIM standards across clinics and outpatient departments. You will collect business requirements, document processes, and partner with HIM Systems Analysts to implement needs.

This fully remote role requires travel, and a strong background in Health Information Management, analytics, and stakeholder management to improve clinic operations and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Health Information Management or outpatient clinic setting required.
• RHIT/RHIA Certification preferred.
• Associate degree or Bachelor’s in HIM/Informatics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams on education, implementation, and management of HIM standards in clinics.
• Provides training and auditing of HIM standards and related functions.
• Provides reporting and feedback to clinics and partners with clinic leadership.
• Supports clinic acquisitions and denovos.
• Collects and documents business requirements with HIM Systems Analysts.
• Liaises between departments and manages stakeholder engagement.
• Maintains documentation on projects, processes, and operations.
• Monitors HIM processes and recommends improvements.
