Job summary

Intermountain Health is hiring a HIM Business Analyst to lead education, documentation, and deployment of HIM standards across clinics and outpatient departments. The role supports requirements gathering, training, auditing, and cross-functional coordination, with travel as needed.

In this fully remote position, you’ll partner with clinic operations to drive process improvements, maintain documentation, and monitor HIM workflows. Travel is mandatory, and MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience working in Health Information Management or in an Outpatient Clinic setting required.
• RHIT/RHIA Certification preferred.
• Ability to travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively with cross functional teams on education, implementation, and management of HIM standards in clinics.
• Provides training and auditing of HIM standards and related functions.
• Reports to clinic leadership and coordinates with operations to meet standards.
• Provides operational support for clinic acquisitions and denovos.
• Documents business requirements and collaborates with HIM Systems Analysts.
