Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an Account Manager for Higher Education in Michigan, primarily remote with regular travel to Michigan and northern Ohio. You will manage key accounts, build a long-term pipeline, and drive value through complex IT solutions.

Qualifications

University or Bachelor's degree; Advanced degree or MBA preferred. Or equivalent work experience.
8+ years of sales experience.
5+ years higher education account management experience.
Master in knowledge of products, solution or service offerings and competitors' offerings.

Responsibilities

Develops long term sales pipeline to increase market share in higher education.
Sell complex products or solutions to customers on a partnership basis.
Establish consultative relationships with C-level executives for mid-to-large accounts.
Maintain cross-portfolio knowledge and support account leads with integration of solutions.
Demonstrates knowledge of IT budgets, objectives and metrics; lead negotiations and closing deals.
