Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Project Detailer to perform detailed quantity takeoffs, material analysis, constructability reviews, and project detailing for high-voltage substation projects.

This role supports preconstruction, estimating, procurement, engineering, and operations teams to ensure accurate budgets and successful bids. This position is fully remote with location details discussed in the interview process.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Drafting, Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in electrical construction and high-voltage substations.
• Experience with utility infrastructure and industrial electrical projects.
• Experience in estimating or detailing roles.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with estimating software platforms and Autodesk Revit.
• Knowledge of substation voltages 12kV–500kV.
• Experience with Accubid, HCSS, Procore, Primavera P6, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from drawings and bid documents.
• Quantify substation components (foundations, structure, grounding, bus, cables, cable trays).
• Develop BOM summaries and labor estimates.
• Support EPC, design-build and utility substation projects.
