Job summary

Travere Therapeutics in San Diego, with remote options within the USA, is seeking an Executive Director of Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR). You will provide strategic leadership for HEOR, real-world evidence, PROs, and evidence synthesis across the nephrology portfolio including FILSPARI.

You will collaborate with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, Biostatistics, and Clinical Development to shape an integrated evidence strategy.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in health economics, outcomes research, epidemiology, public health, health services research, pharmacy, medicine, biostatistics, or a related discipline.
• PhD, PharmD, MD, ScD, or DrPH or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the HEOR and value evidence strategy across Travere's nephrology portfolio.
• Develop integrated evidence-generation plans addressing clinical, economic, and humanistic needs.
• Identify evidence gaps with cross-functional teams and prioritize HEOR initiatives.
• Lead health economic research including cost-effectiveness and budget impact analyses.
• Oversee real-world evidence studies using claims, EMR/EHR, registries, and other data sources.
• Guide patient-reported outcomes strategy and instrument selection/validation.
• Publish HEOR research and represent Travere with external researchers and stakeholders.
• Manage external vendors, budgets, timelines, and project execution.

Education

Advanced degree in HEOR-related field

PhD/MD/PharmD/DrPH preferred
