Job summary

Maximus is hiring a Technician 1 - Help Desk to support CMS BOSC clients. This fully remote role expects IT desktop support, ticketing, and customer service across sites and home offices.

You will reset passwords, unlock accounts, troubleshoot MFA, and assist with device imaging and remote access. A High School diploma and 1+ year of experience are required, with CMS vetting completion as a condition of employment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience.
• Available Monday-Friday with typical hours aligning to EST window.
• Strong verbal and written communication /customer service skills.
• CMS client vetting process completion required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Technician II in providing Desktop and Operational Support to assigned site and remote offices.
• Install, configure, maintain, and support desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other PC peripherals and related hardware.
• Install and support a variety of PC operating systems.
• Diagnose, resolve, and follow up on issues relating to various user concerns.
• Use remote desktop software to provide remote support and resolve issues.
• Provide written updates for problem resolution in ticketing system or knowledge bases.
• Assist in troubleshooting advanced technical issues within network and telecom environments.
