Maximus is seeking a Technician 1 - Help Desk to deliver desktop and remote support for CMS BOSC program users. The role emphasizes resolving login, MFA, and device issues, while maintaining timely ticket updates.

Candidates should have a High School diploma (0–2 years) and be capable of working in a remote, CMS vetting environment with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required with 0–2 years of experience.
• Hours Mon-Fri 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM EST typical; must be available 7:00 AM–7:45 PM EST.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow processes and guidelines to ensure repeatable customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide desk-side and remote support to assigned site and remote offices.
• Install, configure, maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals; support remote access devices.
• Use remote desktop software to resolve issues for remote users.
• Document problem resolutions in ticketing system and knowledge bases.
• Assist in troubleshooting network and workstation issues and liaise with project managers.
