Smart Start, Inc. is seeking a Help Desk Representative for a fully remote role serving technicians in the field. You will handle inbound calls, provide information, resolve issues, and upsell services while maintaining accurate logs.

The position is full-time, non-exempt hourly, with a schedule across early mornings to evenings CST and weekend coverage. Comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Professional verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency for multitasking.
• Courteous yet courageous interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability and resourceful thinking for high stress situations.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from technicians in the field and respond appropriately.
• Provide product and service information to callers and clients.
• Identify, research, and resolve clients’ complaints using applicable resources.
• Partner internally and externally with a positive and collaborative attitude.
• Identify and elevate issues appropriately.
• Route calls to appropriate resources.
• Conduct follow up calls when necessary.
• Upsell products, programs, and services to existing clients.
• Complete call logs and reports.
• Manage correspondence and track issues.
• Analyze, consolidate, validate, enter, and track data.
• Organize and maintain records and filing systems.
• Gather data from multiple technology systems.
• Handle documents using various office equipment.
• Adhere to company policies and confidentiality.
