Job summary

Proven IT seeks a Healthcare IT Technical Engineer to support Ambulatory Surgical Centers. The role involves evaluating environments, documenting standards, and developing roadmaps, budgets, and SOWs. It emphasizes Microsoft 365, Cisco Meraki, and related infrastructure, with travel for assessments and planning.

The candidate will translate business needs into secure, scalable tech initiatives and work with administrators, vendors, and delivery teams in a mostly remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience may substitute.
• 3+ years of Tier II-level systems, network, M365, or managed services experience.
• Healthcare/ASC experience preferred with HIPAA knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of M365 licensing, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, MFA, Intune, Entra ID.
• Knowledge of Cisco Meraki, networking, endpoints, backups, and servers.
• Ability to translate findings into recommendations and SOWs.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct structured assessments and reviews for new clients and existing locations.
• Evaluate findings against standards; document deficiencies, risks, dependencies, and recommended actions.
• Prepare Project Summaries, Executive Project Summaries, and Technical SOWs for initiatives.
• Maintain location-level standards, deficient plans, roadmaps, and budgets.
• Lead technical discovery, scope review, and planning discussions with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with client, vendors, ISPs, and internal teams to gather requirements.
• Onboarding planning and handoff; update documentation and roadmaps as work completes.
