Job summary

Proven IT in Tinley Park, IL seeks a Healthcare IT Technical Engineer to plan and engineer technology initiatives for ambulatory centers. You will translate business needs into secure, supportable tech, create roadmaps and budgets, and collaborate with administrators, vendors, and delivery teams.

Travel required for assessments and planning meetings. The role emphasizes documentation, QBR support, and non-routine project work, with remote work primarily and onsite travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Tier II-level systems, network, or managed services experience.
• Healthcare experience or ASC exposure preferred with HIPAA knowledge.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, MFA, Intune, Entra ID.
• Knowledge of Cisco Meraki, basic network, Windows Server, AD, backups.
• Ability to translate findings into SOWs, roadmaps, and budget estimates.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct structured new-client assessments and existing-location reviews; remote discovery and onsite walkthroughs.
• Evaluate findings against standards; document deficiencies, risks, and recommended actions.
• Prepare Project Summaries, Executive Summaries, and Technical SOWs for initiatives.
• Maintain location-level standards, deficiency plans, roadmaps, and IT budgets.
• Assess Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Cisco Meraki, and basic network requirements.
• Develop clear technical requirements, estimates, and quotes using approved standards.
• Create and prioritize Quote/Engineer tickets; track inputs and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate assessment evidence and diagrams in IT Glue and related systems.
• Lead technical discovery and planning discussions; explain recommendations clearly.
• Support routine client check-ins and QBRs with technical input and documentation.
• Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and internal teams to gather information and plan delivery.
• Identify recurring issues and engage senior resources when needed.
• Support onboarding and handoff and update documentation after work completion.
