Job summary

Adventist HealthCare’s Information Technology team seeks a Systems Engineer III to join a remote-friendly environment. You will handle operational tasks, incidents, access, and problem management while maintaining infrastructure and application portfolios.

Required 5+ years in Windows server environments and COTS applications, with healthcare IT experience preferred. Certifications such as Network+/A+/ITIL are valued. Salary ranges align with market and include extensive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology preferred.
5+ years implementing and supporting applications in MS Windows Server/Desktop environments.
5+ years supporting general COTS based applications.
3+ years in healthcare industry preferred.
3+ years experience with clinical applications preferred.
Network+ or similar certification required.
A+ or similar certification required.
ITILv3 Foundations preferred.
Three primary technology certifications covering server, storage and infrastructure applications preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform service operational tasks including supporting requests, resolving incidents, providing access, and managing problems.
Maintain daily infrastructure platform and application portfolio maintenance tasks.
Understand infrastructure, clinical and business application lifecycles and configurations.
Provide on-call 24x7 support and SLA adherence.
Develop risk mitigation plans for existing and new applications.
Collaborate with users and support staff to configure and troubleshoot infrastructure and applications.
Document diagrams and configurations; maintain procedures for overall integrity.
Follow PMBOK and ITIL in planning, design, and execution of upgrades and implementations.
Assist with data gathering and development of reference architectures.
Review changes for technical impact and cost-effective solutions.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on technology deployments.
