Job summary

Maximus seeks an experienced Delivery Leader to oversee development, testing, and implementation of a large-scale healthcare system serving State Medicaid clients. This role provides leadership across multiple teams, ensuring high-quality, compliant solutions for a COTS product.

The position is fully remote with up to 25% travel. You will collaborate with managers, business analysts, developers, testers, and operations to drive delivery, manage risks, and onboard new Medicaid customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software delivery with leadership/management.
• Experience overseeing delivery for enterprise healthcare systems, preferably Medicaid.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to present to executives.
• Experience managing matrixed teams.
• Advanced knowledge of project management tools and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for project technology issues.
• Manage expectations, assess needs, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Build trust and client relationships; add value to initiatives.
• Review deliverables for quality and contractual compliance.
• Lead delivery across application development, systems integration, and product installation.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and training to staff.
