Job summary

Maximus is seeking an experienced Delivery Leader to oversee the development, maintenance, testing and implementation of a large-scale healthcare system serving State Medicaid clients. You will provide delivery leadership across multiple teams and ensure compliant, high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of software delivery experience, with 5+ years in technical leadership or management roles.
• Proven experience overseeing delivery for enterprise healthcare systems, preferably Medicaid-related.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; able to present complex concepts to customer and executive audiences.
• Experience managing and supporting matrixed teams.
• Advanced knowledge of project management tools like MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery for enterprise healthcare systems, ensuring high-quality, compliant solutions.
• Lead project planning, schedule, cost estimation, and staff development across multiple teams.
• Build strong client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Guide lifecycle processes from requirements analysis through testing and deployment.
• Provide direction during lifecycle stages, including requirements analysis, testing, and programming support.
• Coordinate technical presentations and demonstrations to stakeholders.
