Job summary

EXL Health seeks an experienced Instructional Designer to develop advanced educational content for clinical, coding, and audit teams across Payment Integrity programs, including DRG and clinical validation. You will lead blended live and e-learning initiatives with a remote team of trainers and SMEs.

You will translate complex healthcare concepts into engaging training, build assessments, and maintain a curriculum library, using Articulate Rise/Storyline and Camtasia.

Qualifications

• Strong background in designing healthcare training content.
• Able to translate clinical, coding, and audit concepts into learner-friendly content.
• Experience evaluating training effectiveness and learner outcomes.
• Portfolio demonstrating instructional design capability in healthcare content.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop instructional programs including curricula, guides, and e-learning modules.
• Collaborate with SMEs to reflect industry standards and audit methodologies.
• Translate complex healthcare concepts into clear training content.
• Develop evaluation loops and redesign content based on learner feedback.
• Maintain curriculum library, version control, and reusable assets.
• Apply adult learning theory and multimedia tools in all designs.
• Create tools for remote learning and blended delivery.
• Use best practices for engagement and knowledge transfer.
